This is a light version of the multilingual package "french" for LaTeX. There are 3 LaTeX source files. frenchle.sty is the main package and is loaded as usual by \usepackage{frenchle}. Or it can be loaded via babel with either french.ldf which is called when you type \usepackage[french]{babel} or frenchle.ldf which is called when you type \usepackage[frenchle]{babel}. A better alternative is \documentcalss[french]{class} and \usepackage{babel} which provides the French option to all packages loaded.
